During the IMIS show at Indiapolis, the MARC Times Racing News & Michigan Racing Scene happen into Ron Varney from the ASA Late Model Series and when no one was looking, he slipped us a peak of the new 2010 ASA Late Model car.
In a word.. WOW !!
But we were sworn to secrey until the official unveiling at the PRI show in Orlando, but PRI has come and gone, so we want to share with you these hot new body styles.
In my opinion, this car is something else.
I like the new NASCAR Nationwide pony style COT's, but this car puts those cars to shame. The new ASA Late Model Series body takes me back to the 1960's when the real race full bodied cars took to the speedways. There is absolutely no
doubt when you look at either of these two body styles what you are looking at.One is distinctly Ford. It is a Mustang. It would not be confused with anything else.
The other is distinctly a Chevy. It is a Camaro. It would not be confused with anything else.
And when you see one of these cars at your local track, you are going to know that the ASA Late Model Series is in town, because these aren't just another ABC template body car which without the stickers you wouldn't know what it was.
These are real car looking bodies on real race cars.
