MARC Times Racing News & Midwest Racing Scene learned this weekend that Marion Brooks passed away on January 6th. Marion has been a pioneer in the short track industry with positions from car owner to Hoosier Tire dealer and also a founding member of Kil-Kare Inc, the company behind Kil-Kare Speedway in Ohio. Marion will be remembered as the robust gentleman that he was, and the racing community will miss his humor, smile, and presence.
His wife Martha has asked for all phone calls to be held at this time.
Our thought and prayers are with the entire Brooks family.
