Midlothian, Illinois (Tuesday, March 23, 2010): The 2010 racing season for Lorz Motorsports is fast approaching and Car Owner, Mike Lorz and the rest of the hard-working Lorz crew have been hard at work preparing for the upcoming campaign inside their Midlothian, Illinois based shop.
The 2010 racing season begins for Lorz and company at the fast ½ (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of New Smyrna Speedway in Samsula, Florida for the first event under the Sunoco National Tour (Formerly ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division) banner on Friday and Saturday, March 26-27th in the running of the Southern Salute 2000.
ARCA Racing Series veteran, and a native from near-by the Midlothian race shop in Chicago, Illinois, A.J. Henriksen has joined forces with Lorz and will make a run at the 2010 Sunoco National Tour Championship behind the wheel of the #76 Lorz Motorsports Ford Mustang. “We can't wait to see A.J. at the wheel of our new Ford Mustang. He has been coming down to the shop the last few weeks getting fitted up in his new ride and he is ready to go,” Stated Mike Lorz.
