Normal 0 "First in Family Fun" is the motto that new track managers, Jeff and Pam Parish, take very seriously at Dixie Motor Speedway. The Dynamic Duo have set out to entertain Dixie fans every moment they’re at the track by loading up the schedule with great races and great fun for the entire family. The first four nights of racing this season are jam-packed with excitement for everyone.

Mother’s Day Weekend will kick off the season. Fans can look forward to an action-packed night with Mods, Sportsman, Street Stock, Bombers and Figure 8 Features. It will also be Ladies Night at Dixie.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, the VIP Sky Deck is being transformed into a luxury suite for women. For only $25, ladies can watch the races from the suite and enjoy an evening full of pampering and fun. Dixie is bringing in two premium salons from the area, Allure ‘a (of Frankenmuth) and Octane Beauty Salon (of Clio). Everyone in the luxury suite will enjoy a multitude of mini services like hairstyling, mini-manicures and chair massages. Mary Kay Consultant, Karen Sharp, will be there with Mary Kay’s famous lip treatments. We Deliver the Fun (of Frankenmuth) will be doing Fantasy Eyes makeovers and Glamorous Temporary Tattoos. Apryl’s Tupperware (of Frankenmuth) will have bath and body gift bag give-aways and Harvest Café (of Frankenmuth) will have flavored coffees for all to enjoy.

On May 15th, Dixie will prove that everything at Dixie is fast, including first dates. Apryl’s Tupperware (of Frankenmuth) will be hosting Speed-Dating Sessions in the VIP Sky Deck to raise money for the St. John’s Christian Education fund. There will also be opportunities for fans to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and to watch a special intermission show from the Mid Michigan Derby Girls!
Dixie kids can look forward to May 22nd at the Speedway. It will be Civil Servant Night and Kids Bike Night. Children of all ages will be able to enter drawings for bicycles and shake the hands of local Police, Fire Fighters, and EMT’s. There will also be a Kid’s Carnival Night and two Autograph Nights later in the season.

The fourth night of the season is Church Youth Group Night and local area Pastors will climb into go-karts during the intermission for a “Faster Pastor” Race on the track.

That’s just the first four nights of 2009 at Dixie Motor Speedway, too. Don’t close your eyes this season, Dixie Fans, you’ll definitely miss something if you do!
