Sunny skies and comfortable temperatures surrounded the Kinross area Friday night, allowing Kinross Speedpark to have another great show with five classes of racing.
The NAMRA Formula Indy's made their scheduled annual visit to the track entertaining the crowd with high speeds and great racing. Greg Stanley led flag to flag in the Indy dash to take his first checkered flag of the night. Stanley started second in the Australian Pursuit and held off everyone behind him to take another win. The Formula Indy heat race set a very fast pace and had some great action. Paul Bosler got the lead on the last lap and took the victory. The feature event was another great race. Dan Frye had the dominate car leading for much of the race. He broke about halfway through and had to be towed from the track. With the field reset, Bart Stern made an attempt for the lead getting alongside Greg Stanley. Stanley held his position and raced on to the win. Stern finished second and Paul Bosler third.

NAMRA Formula Indy Feature Winner - #16 Greg Stanley
Ron Etcher started at the rear of the 4 Cylinder dash and worked his way around everyone for the win. The 4 Cylinder Australian Pursuit finished with two cars with Alex Johnson holding off a hard charging Erica Pietrangelo to earn the victory. The field was split into two heat races with both Erica Pietrangelo and Don Dangler taking checkered flags. The feature race had some excitement early with the field five wide in turn one and four wide in turn three. A big spin ensued with three cars going to the pits for repairs. Don Dangler went to the high side on the restart and rocketed to the front. Dangler survived several restarts after cautions to take the win. Erica Pietrangelo and Sam Bohling put on a great show racing for the second position. Pietrangelo did hold on to second, with Bohling finishing third.

AllStar Graphics Four Cylinder Feature Winner - #15 Don Dangler Jr.
Ray Golladay Sr. started on the front row of the Pure Stock dash and held on to the lead and the victory. The Pure Stock heat race had lots of bumping on the first lap with the yellow flying when the nose cone on Bill Crydermans car came loose. It was another wild restart with Ray Golladay Jr. blowing by everyone to get up to first. Golladay Jr. held off a charge by John Clawson to take the win. Golladay Jr. made the feature look like a rerun of his heat race. He blew through the field and quickly took the lead from Bill Cryderman. John Clawson worked his way to the front and caught the speeding Golladay car. With two laps to go, Clawson touched the rear bumper of Golladay spinning him and bringing out the yellow. Golladay Jr. led the restart and raced to the victory. Ray Golladay Sr. finished second, and Bill Cryderman third.

Pure Stock Division Feature Winner - #20 Ray Golladay Jr.
The Factory Stock dash was a very close race. Paul Fox led the field to the checkered and took the win. Fox continued his quick pace taking the lead and the win in the heat race. The top four cars were very close with all of them putting on an unbelievable race. Paul Fox would have his fortunes change in the feature when he went off the front stretch in a cloud of dust on the first lap of racing. He was able to restart but wasn't able to challenge. Both Randy Miller and Mike Fox led early laps with some fast cars moving through the pack behind them. Larry Young Jr. launched to the outside line and took over the lead. Mark Beaudoin stayed close for awhile running second. The field spread out with cars settling into their positions. Cecil Piche was able to move past Beaudoin to get up to second place. When the checkered was flown, Young Jr. was in first, Piche second, and Beaudoin third.

Factory Stock Division Feature Winner - #25 Larry Young Jr.
Kevin Johnson had a nice start to take the lead and the win in the Late Model dash. George Wilson blew away the field in the heat race earning a big victory. The feature race had some tight racing for the first few laps. John Clawson worked past Denny Aho to lead early. Clawson got loose in turn two losing a little momentum and allowing Wilson to slip by for the lead. Once Wilson was in front, he pulled away without any challenges. Josh Ware finished second, and Jerry Artuso third.

Super Late Model Division Feature Winner - #77 George Wilson
