On my trip down to Onaway the sky was more than ugly, it was just plain out wicked. Rain was falling so hard that both lanes on I-75 were near a stand still, but as we made it to the track, the sun was out and dark clouds loomed in the distance with streaks of lightning in the sky. Luckily for the staff and the drivers that made the trek out to the speed way it all stayed far from the track. Instead a large rainbow arched over the track for most of the nights events.
A field of 21 cars made it to the track for compitition. The pure stocks had 7, factory stocks 4, modifieds 2, four cylinders had 2 and the bombers had 5. Due to the low car count in the mods and the factory stocks, for the feature the two classes were combind for a heck of a show. The action was only slowed 1 time durring the pure stock feature for the spun mount of Dave Hartung who would spin in turn 2 durring the feature.
Pure stock:
Dash: 17 Kris Riley, 2 Dave Morrell, 60 Curtis Anderson, 49 Ryan Radziejewski
Aussie: 17 Kris Riley, 60 Curtis Anderson, 49 Ryan Radziejewski, 2 Dave Morrell, 40 Dave Hartung, 28 John Clancey, 45 Chris Sylvester
Heat: 17 Kris Riley, 2 Dave Morrell, 40 Dave Hartung, 60 Curtis Anderson, 28 John Clancey, 49 Ryan Radziejewski, 45 Chris Sylvester

A special note this week, the nights activities were dedicated to Christine Nicholes, beloved friend and crew member to Pfalzer Racing Team who passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday evening. She was a great crew member and helped me out at the track in the short time I was able to know her. She will be sadly missed and the progress that we gain this season could not have been done with out her. I thank Don, my car owner and Christine for all the seat time they have given me this year, and hopefully we can pull of a win this season to dedicate to her. Gods Speed to Christie, and her family in this time of grief.
Thank you
Chris Sylvester
