Sunday May 24th, we were the guest of the Gary Howe and the fine folks at Kalamazoo Speedway for the running of the All-Star Shootout and the Belle Tire 200 FWD Enduro Race.
You'll can check out the Kalamazoo Articles Index for a review of the awesome All-Star Shootout show, but we'd thought we'd share some of the Belle Tire 200 with everyone here.
If you haven't ever been to a Kalamazoo Speedway Enduro, I think you're in for a treat.
By the way.. 128 cars started the race. Yes. 128. On the track, at the same time. The rules, well.. basically, there aren't any. They frown on rough driving, but outside of that, there are no racing lines, no gentleman's agreements about how far you gotta be up on a car to make a pass, nothing preventing brake checking, or a liberal use of the chrome horn.

That will get you to about the half way point.. and where they had a pretty big accident They had to cut the guy out of the car and take him to the hospital, though he ended up okay.
